Opening and Verifying an Account

Opening an account with a licensed operator is a legal process, not just a form to fill in. The account has to be verifiable, it has to belong to an adult, and it has to carry the controls the licence requires. At Rizk the process is the same as at any operator holding a Serbian licence. Rizk operates online under licence 424-01-00031/2021-02 issued by the Games of Chance Administration, so everything below follows from the rules rather than from house preference.

Opening the account

A licensed sign-up form in Serbia asks for the usual identifying details plus a Serbian mobile number, and the only thing you invent is the password. That number matters more than it appears to: it is the channel for confirmation codes and, later, for anything to do with recovering access, so a number you actually control is worth more than a convenient one.

Play starts as soon as the account exists. Withdrawing starts once it is verified. Those two sentences are the entire difference, and the gap between them is where most complaints about any licensed operator actually sit.

The identity check

Verification wants a photograph of an identity document, and sometimes proof that the bank account or card you intend to use belongs to you. The check does not grow with the amount, and that is the useful part: it takes the same few minutes on a small balance as on one a hundred times larger. Done on day one it is invisible. Left until a withdrawal is pending, it becomes the reason the withdrawal is pending.

Three things get it through first time. Use a document that is still valid. Photograph it flat, in daylight, with all four corners in the frame. And make sure the name on the account, on the document and on the payment method are the same name — a mismatch is the single commonest reason a check comes back, as the withdrawal guide sets out.

The deadline that is easy to miss

One part of the welcome menu depends on this step rather than on a deposit: the free spins arrive only once registration and verification are both complete. That is why they are the part most often lost, by putting the photograph off until the weekend. The rest of the menu is in the welcome bonus guide.

Limits and self-exclusion

A deposit limit appears during sign-up because the licence requires it to be offered, and it is the single most useful control on the page. It is also much easier to set when nothing is at stake than to reach for in the middle of a bad week. Self-exclusion sits beside it, and both can be adjusted later — with a delay on loosening them, which is the point of them.

One account, one name

One account per person, in your own name, funded only from your own card or account, and eighteen or older. Duplicate accounts are closed when they are found, and any balance on them is disputed rather than paid. This is the rule that catches anyone opening a second account to claim the welcome offer twice, and it catches them at the withdrawal rather than at the opening.

The process is short, and it is front-loaded on purpose. Register, verify the same day, set a limit, and the cashier afterwards is just the payments hub and nothing else.
